Solar Powered Window Socket

PaulProduct Design, Tech

This clever electrical outlet is powered by solar energy. The socket simply attaches via a suction plate to any window, allowing you to charge any small electrical device.

The concept was designed by Kyuho Song and Boa Oh. The Window Socket pulls solar power to an internal battery, which can be either used immediately or saved for use during night time hours or when you are away from the sun. After 8 hours of charging, the socket provides the user with 10 hours of electricity.

What’s so great about this device is its portability. You can carry it with you to charge your phone while you’re on the go, and because it stores power you can even charge electronics if you’re sitting in a dark room.
